'Victim' costume and props

Costume and props are key to making a believable film. Each character has their own costume which separates them from the other.

In our opening, Ben's costume consisted of:
  • Thick/heavy outdoor jacket
  • Plain white, long-sleeved shirt
  • Thick/heavy looking boots
Ben chose this costume because it helps him correctly portray a murderer. Having boots and a thick jacket is normally associated with people who are up to no good.

In our opening, my costume consisted of:

  • Black top
  • Short grey skirt
  • Tights
  • Boots
I chose this costume because I wanted to portray my character as vulnerable. Wearing a skirt instead of trousers is more effective because because she looks less innocent.

Fake blood was a main prop in our opening because Ben's character wakes to find himself covered in blood ans when my character;s body is found, she is covered in blood to. We also used a gun, knife, car, gloves, balaclarva and thick tape to create the flashbacks.
